Lisa A. Morgan, Secretary
Lisa Morgan, a member of Sutherland’s Corporate Practice Group, focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and securities law, including public offerings and corporate governance matters. She advises clients on compliance with the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
Lisa has represented clients in connection with a variety of corporate transactional matters including public and private equity and debt offerings. She also assists clients with the operation of public and private venture funds including business development companies. Lisa has extensive corporate governance-related experience and regularly advises operating and investment companies on compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the corporate governance listing standards of the national securities exchanges.
Kevin Strumwasser, Treasurer
Kevin Strumwasser has over 9 years of experience across a variety of topics in both public and private accounting and finance. He is currently a Director of Accounting at Fannie Mae, overseeing a group accounting for $2.7 trillion of single family loan assets. Kevin started his career working with Ernst & Young, focused on process development, improvement, implementation, and ongoing execution at large financial clients. Kevin later joined Fannie Mae, building and improving workstreams.

Cathy Burke, Member
Cathy Burke, RYT holds a degree in Nutrition and Wellness and has been practicing yoga for over 12 years. She completed her training through Pure Power Yoga of Alexandria, VA, and her Prenatal Yoga Certification with Janice Clarfield of Urban Yoga in Vancouver, CA. An advocate and teacher of personal health, she provides a variety of yoga classes that encourage the student to explore his or her own limits and work towards exceeding them, both on and off the mat. Prior to her yoga teaching journey, she served as Education Director for the American Chiropractic Association where she oversaw continuing education for the chiropractic profession and Program Manager for the Child Nutrition Foundation where she developed nutrition education programs for students and school nutrition professionals. Lydia Humenycky, Member
Lydia Humenycky has four years of professional experience in foreign affairs and international development and three years practicing strategic communication. She has worked in developing and post-conflict economies conducting evaluations, spurring entrepreneurship, and launching strategic business and communication plans for micro-finance firms. Currently a Rotary Peace Fellow, she is pursing a degree in international relations in Tokyo, Japan and also holds a master’s in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University. Ms. Humenycky has worked at the Department of State, international consultancies, and grassroot-change organizations and brings well-developed policy research, analysis, and writing skill sets to her work
Dr. Sharon Lambert, Member
Sharon is an Associate Professor of Clinical/ Community Psychology. Dr. Lambert is a clinical and community psychologist with specializations in developmental and quantitative psychology. Her primary research interests are understanding the nature and course of internalizing problems in urban and African American adolescents, and understanding how the different contexts of development, particularly the neighborhood environment, contribute to child and adolescent adjustment. Dr. Lambert also has interests in the application of advanced statistical methods to understand the development of psychopathology, and the role of contexts in development. Specific methodological interests include the application of longitudinal modeling and spatial analytic techniques to understand how environment affects development. Dr. Lambert plans to use her research in each of these areas to inform the development and evaluation of preventive interventions for children and adolescents. Currently, Dr. Lambert participates in the George Washington Institute of Public Policy. As part of her work there, she is examining associations between neighborhood characteristics and adolescent psychopathology, and the implications of these associations for policy and practice.

Tom Shaw, Member
Tom Shaw’s early years were in the publishing business overseeing newsstand sales and promotions for Hearst Corporation in the Southeast. He later went on to specialize in media production – documentary, educational, news, and promotion.
He is president of International Information Resources (IIR) which was incorporated in 1986. Media production has been his forte but in the early nineties he began to focus on the creation, implementation, and management of national initiatives, many targeting under-served populations.
The development and funding of these initiatives is made possible by unique collaborations between the public and private sectors, providing the best outcomes for the health (physical/mental) and wellness of the community at large.
Shaw’s clients over the years have included non-profit associations, advocacy organizations, publishers, and major corporations.
