General Summary:

The Program manager will work directly with the Executive Director, YoKid Volunteers (teachers & assistants), community partners, and interns to coordinate YoKid’s yoga programs.

Program Manager Responsibilities Include:

~Scheduling YoKid’s yoga programs

~Develop and Maintain relationships with community partners

~Recruit and facilitate community among a corp group of yoga teachers, assistants, and interns

~Maintain accurate data and records

Work Environment: 

The program manager is expected to work from YoKid’s Alexandria office 8-15 hours per week

Qualifications:

~Organized, Professional, Proactive, Responsible, & Detail Oriented

~Excellent time management skills

~Proficient in MS Word, Excel, use of online social media, and web-based communication

~Management experience preferred

~Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

~Management experience preferred

~ Experience with Salesforce Database (or comparable database)

~ Personal laptop (Mac preferred)

~ Organized, professional, friendly, proactive, solution-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently and as a team.

~ Interest in youth development and yoga

~ Commitment to confidentiality

Compensation & Commitment:

~$15/hour

~8-15 hours/week (hours adjust depending on the season)

~Available to work a flexible schedule of 10am-2pm, Monday/Wednesday/Friday OR Tuesday/Thursday

~Available to teach/sub YoKid Yoga classes as needed. Compensation is $35 for each class taught.
