Who Can Be A YoKid Yoga Teacher?

YoKid teacher volunteers are qualified individuals who have an interest in teaching kids yoga. Whether you’ve taught yoga in the past or have worked with children in a different capacity, your most important quality will be the enthusiasm you have for positively impacting the lives of children.

Do I Need Special Training?

Completion of the 20 hour basic kids yoga teacher certification training is encouraged for all YoKid teachers. Depending on your background, you may be required to participate in our 45 hour kid’s yoga certification program before you begin teaching.

How Do I Get Started?

First, complete and submit the form below. Next, download and follow the directions for the background check at the bottom of the page. Lastly, commit to teaching 6 classes (one class per week for 6 weeks). YoKid will provide you with lesson plans, professional support, and a stipend for each class that you teach. All teachers must submit a W9 in order to receive payment.
