Studio & Community Classes

YoKid provides classes for ALL.  Check out the classes below to join a YoKid class at your local yoga studio and be sure to visit our “Get YoKid” page to learn how to set up a program at your local school or community center. Thank you to our supporting studios for graciously donating their space to benefit YoKid.  Proceeds from all of the classes listed below directly support YoKid yoga and meditation classes for under-served & at-risk youth.

Teen Yoga

Kids ages 11 to 17 years old at the middle and high school level are taught traditional Hatha yoga, based on the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. The series allows the students to independently practice what they’ve learned in their yoga class at home. Partner exercises, deep breathing, relaxation and stress management techniques are integrated into all yoga classes. Space is still available–REGISTER TODAY!!

Kids Yoga

Preschool children are taught traditional yoga poses, games, partner exercises, arts, crafts, music, songs and yoga sounds. Children will laugh, learn, exercise and play in a nurturing yoga environment.

Family Yoga

Yoga for families with children 4-10 years old. Yoga postures, breathing techniques, games, and music in an interactive environment created to benefit the whole family. Each class is filled with opportunity for creativity, fun, and relaxation for your children and the kid in you!

Adult Vinyasa Flow (Donation Flow)

Donation-based vinyasa class benefiting YoKid. Suggested $18 minimum donation: A special vinyasa class that integrates breath with movement and focuses on the traditional sun salutation mixed with a balanced menu of core asanas (postures).
