YoKid 20-hr Basic Kid’s Yoga Training
is made up of the following three courses:
- Yoga Philosophy for Kids
- Teaching K-5th Grade Yoga
- Teaching 6th-12th Grade Yoga
You will learn about traditional yoga philosophy and poses, the Yoga Sutras as they pertain to kids and teens, the Ashtanga Teen Series developed by Kino McGregor, yoga games and stories, partner poses, and journaling with children.

Why should you become a certified kids yoga teacher with YoKid?
The YoKid 20-hour Basic Kids Yoga Training will give you the tools you need to effectively teach yoga to kids and teens. You will learn:
- age-appropriate language
- methods for creating a fun and calming environment for kids
- effective methods of classroom management
- stages of child development
How can you use your training & certification?
All three trainings can be used for CEU’s with Yoga Alliance, staff development requirements in a variety of school districts, and to fulfill a 20-hour module requirement in the Radiant Child Family Yoga Certification courses. The hours can also count towards Yoga Alliance’s 95-hour children’s yoga specialty or 200-hour registration through Radiant Child Yoga.
Can you teach for YoKid after completing your training?

When are the teacher trainings?
