Yoga Relaxation for Kids & Teens

Our yoga practice always ends with “Savasana” (pronounced (shah-vah-sah-nah)) our final resting pose. This pose may look easy, but can be one of the most challenging postures to do.  Are you ready to try it?

After a few sun salutations to prepare your body, lay down, relax, and let all of the thoughts in your mind drift away…

BUT try not to fall asleep…

Just notice what goes on, without thinking, and without judgement.  When your body says it’s time, gently sit up and proceed with the rest of your day.

As with any pose, keep practicing, and notice the difference of how you feel afterwards.
